About Chinese belt hooks and robe hooks

Belt and robe hooks were widely used during the Warring States. However, its use decline sharply after the Han Dynasty due to change in dress code. In later years, these hooks were deem to be inappropriate. Belt and robe hooks were lute shape with one end having a bigger rounded head and the other turned up to form a hook.
